ANGEL I hear a gentle whisper Its callin out to us Its coming from my grandma She says “Quiet with all the fuss” She says “to keep things simple” Or she will chase you up a tree But then she will hug and kiss you Like she has always done with me She says to keep our heads up But I still ask her why The only thing she tells me Is do it or "I’ll spit in your eye" I know she never means it But it shows me that she cares The only one to keep up with us kids Grandma was always there And though she’s gone to heaven I know my god will part To give to me an Angel To keep within my heart
A poem written from Tad to Grandma. With love I send this message to the woman I look up to the most, even if I am taller than her.
